The Challenge
PG Hidraúlica is a factory and distributor of auto parts. They needed their customers to be able to access an updated catalog of their products. This would allow customers to check prices, verify availability, and the characteristics of spare parts. It would also enable them to place orders for the replacement of stock in their inventories.
However, many of PG Hidraúlica’s clients work in warehouses where connectivity is limited or non-existent.

The Solution
We chose to develop a Progressive Web App on top of the Quasar Framework (Vue.js) for several reasons. Firstly, its versatility, which allows us to create a flexible and customizable app. Secondly, its accessibility since it can run on any device, making it easy for users to access our services. Lastly, it is not conditioned by connectivity, meaning it can work offline when there is no wi-fi.
The app automatically synchronizes the database of products and orders when connected. This ensures that users always have access to the most up-to-date information, even when they are offline.
